The way of learning for all

Teaching in a variety of learning styles goes a long way to solving the issues from my previous post. These days it’s called Universal Design for Learning. They call it UDL for short. It is simply teaching as many learning modalities as possible for each lesson. It sounds like a huge hassle but, the reality it isn’t. Hearing and responding to a learner’s needs and learning style is immediate and supportive to the student. Again, hearing, really listening to the student and adjusting to how they engage with content is all that it takes.
